What's happening in Shoreview right now
The City of Shoreview's 2026 Street Rehabilitation project (City Project 26-04) went out to bid this spring and covers full-depth reclamation, curb and gutter replacement, and watermain gate valve rehabilitation on street segments in the Richmond Avenue neighborhood, with construction running through the fall. It's part of a bigger year: the city's 2026 Comprehensive Infrastructure Plan also funds $1.65 million in water system improvements, $100,000 for sanitary sewer lift stations, and a new watermain loop connecting Milton Street to Target Lane using trenchless boring. Separately, Ramsey County wrapped the Hodgson Road corridor reconstruction — a full sanitary sewer and watermain replacement — and is doing a mill-and-overlay on County Road I this year (Shoreview 2026 State of the City).
