Drain and sewer work is a specialty — and it's what we do
If water will not go down, a floor drain is backing up, a toilet keeps clogging, or the main line is slow, you do not need a broad plumbing sales pitch — you need someone who works on drains and sewer lines every day. That is where we fit. We clear the blockage, test the line, and explain whether the cause looks like grease, roots, scale, pipe damage, or a one-time clog.
To be clear: Maki Sewer and Drain is not a licensed plumbing contractor and does not perform fixture plumbing, water heater work, or new supply piping. If any of those is what you actually need, a licensed plumber is the right call. If the problem is flow through a drain or a sewer line — the exact work most people call a plumber for and then get charged plumber rates — we're the specialist.
Signs you should call us instead of a plumber
- You searched for a plumber because a drain is backing up
- The basement floor drain is overflowing
- A toilet, shower, or sink will not drain
- You need the sewer line checked before a repair or a home purchase
- You want a focused drain and sewer technician, not a general plumbing sales call
- You've already had a plumber snake it and the problem came back
When you really do need a plumber
Be honest with yourself about the problem. If any of these describe your situation, call a licensed plumber — not us:
- You need a new water heater or one that isn't heating
- You need a faucet, toilet, or fixture installed or replaced
- You have a leak in a water supply line inside a wall or ceiling
- You're remodeling and need new interior plumbing rough-in
- You have a gas line issue
How the service call works
- We diagnose whether it's fixture plumbing (call a plumber) or drain and sewer flow (our specialty)
- Clear the blockage when it is a drain or sewer issue
- Use camera inspection when the cause is unclear
- Tell you honestly if another trade is the right fit
- Give practical next steps based on the actual problem
